New Virtual Learning Products Launching: Summer, Fall of 2020 and Beyond

Exciting news! Our digital learning portfolio is growing. While we continue serving nurse educators with virtual  clinical simulations and scenarios for healthcare students, we are also developing virtual training products to meet broader needs in the healthcare industry. Our new virtual clinical scenarios will address both healthcare education AND training challenges for clinical coordinators, healthcare employees, human resource managers, practicing nurses, and more.

Our team listened to your needs, and we are creating these innovative, relevant and timely content series:

Expected Launch: Late Summer and Fall 2020

  • Nursing students can complete virtual clinical telehealth case studies in these areas: Pediatrics, Mental Health, Maternal Nursing, and Med-Surg.
  • In addition to providing new skills, these virtual simulations will provide simulated clinical hours for schools in areas where it is difficult to secure in-person time.
  • Telehealth is a growing trend in the healthcare industry and learners will identify appropriate processes for using telehealth for interventions and follow-up.
Expected Launch: Late Summer and Fall 2020
 
  • Prelicensure nursing students will assess a set of clients on a unit and prioritize the delivery of care based upon assessment information.
  • Learners will also identify appropriate interventions and defend their rationale.
  • These virtual clinical simulations address specialty areas including Med-Surg, Pediatrics, Mental/Behavioral Health, Geriatrics, and Maternal Health/OB.
Expected Launch: Late Summer and Fall 2020
  • These digital learning resources are appropriate for prelicensure, Masters, and DNP programs.
  • As healthcare shifts from focusing on acute, short-term episodes of care to long-term preventive care and chronic disease management, nurses must be prepared to collaborate with a variety of healthcare providers, community resources, and families to assist the healthcare consumer.
  • These virtual clinical simulations provide engaging activities to support the interrelated concepts of the nursing process, clinical judgment, communication, and conflict resolution.
Expected Launch: Early 2021
  • Nurse Practitioners will be able to complete virtual clinical simulations on patients in various specializations:  Pediatrics, Mental Health, Maternal Nursing and Med-Surg.
  • Nurse Practitioners using these digital resources will have advanced exposure to this technology as a way of delivering healthcare.
  • Telehealth is a growing trend in the healthcare industry and learners will identify appropriate processes for using telehealth for interventions and follow-up.
